Not able to see the whole page in the program. My display settings are 1024x720 and the top part of the program is cut off.

this game was a waste of money. i purchased the game to discover that we couldnt play because of the display/game resolution mismatch

Liek the other reviews, the tops cut off. Really was excited about using this for a student...now it just sits here.

The top of the screen is not visible and my setting on my imac are at 1920x1080! This needs FIXED A.S.A.P.!

This is a nifty little app that puts fun and personality into learning the basics of U.S. geography. The trivia games help sharpen your skills on such basics as state abbreviations, capitals, and their positions ("Which of these states borders Missouri", or "Which of these states borders Canada?") and even their shapes. When you get the right answer, you try to build a stack of the states by placing and rotating them so that they can reach the line. Larger states "weigh" more than smaller states so putting Texas on top of a precariously stacked group can actually knock them all off! The bonus games are a lot of fun, too. Trying to knock states out of the Tetris-like falling states before they stack above the line is a challenge because you have to really know your state shapes in any orientation, as in "Click on Alabama" when Alabama, Mississippi, and Minnesota are all in the stack, but each is rotated a random way. It has three modes, Easy, Medium, and Hard. I cant beat hard yet. Two more bonus games on the screen that I still need to unlock. We bought this for our daughters but my wife and I are having a great time with it, too! Supports separate "logins" for multiple players and keeps a "High Score" tracker as well. Note that were playing this on 27" and 24" iMacs and its a little "tall" on the screen. Would likely not fit on my 13" MacBooks screen. Look for the developer(s) to fix this before buying if you have a small (low-res) screen.

This is a state-memory game gone Tetris style, only the blocks could fall off. Fun for kids of all ages, it quizzes students on various facts ranging from geographical location to state capital. I would highly recommend voice be added to the questions and answers, along with postivie praise for each correct answer. It has been updated, so any comments informing of a top cutoff are now obsolete.

My third grader loves this application. Thanks to this app he already knows the states, their capitals, and nicknames without having learned them in school yet. It is fun, engaging, and keeps kids entertained in a positive way.

My boys love this game! My fourth grade and Kindergarten boys love playing this game. Thank you for creating an app that keeps my two boys wanting to learn more about the states. This app definitely beats having my older son memorize flash cards. Thanks again!

I bought this app for my 5 year old grandaugher and so far its a big hit with the whole family. Im not much of a game player but this can be very addictive. Seems stable and works well. Hard to believe its only a couple of dollars.

I when I first downloaded this app, it kept crashing on me, after e-mailing with the developer, we solved the problem and it works great, the kids love it. If you download this app, make sure your Arial Regular font is working properly, that was my problem, I had to re-download my font and the app works great. Thanks for your help Dan.

When I first downloaded the app, I could not access the top of the game screen but the developer was very responsive and solved the problem as quickly as he was able. This game is a really fun way to refresh your understanding of United States Geography.

I bought this game for my 8 year old grandaughter and she became addiccted within minutes. She has learned more in one day about states than she ever knew before. My husband has since challenged himself and he is determined to get ALL of those states. Very fun and educational and easy to learn.

This is a fun app that helps players learn the names and outlines of the states, their location on the US map, and their capital cities. It also gives players an idea of the size of each state in miles because when you stack the states, the game tells you how tall (in miles) your stack is. You are able to rotate the state as you stack it, which gives you a lot of opportunity to visually memorize the states shape. As a bonus there are photographs of US landmarks, such as the St. Louis Gateway Arch, Mount Rushmore, and the US Capitol Building. We have this app for our computer as well as for our iPods. We have tried numerous iPod apps for memorizing the states and capitals, and this is the best by far. My 5th grader loves it, and I enjoy it as well! Great app!

My son loves this on our iphone but on my mac ..... its small like the screenshot when you purchase. I thought it would adjust to any/all screens. Bummer on that because the black around th game gets a bit old and should go full screen. We Love the game, needs work on res and the ability to go full screen. Since its made for a Mac, it should! I do know how to check my settings .... maybe you have pointers?

My 3 and 5 year old love playing this on the ipad. So glad it is was also available for mac, as now we dont have any fighting over whos turn it is! It is amazing how quickly my children have learned their states and now mastering their capitals. Since my children cannot read, I must be there to read it to them, but it has helped my brush up on my US geography as well. This is an educational game that really keeps their interest and rewards them by opening bonus games and collecting all 50 states! I would recommend this highly!!

I bought this program to have my Developmentally Delayed son work with over the summer break. He loves being able to get the states to stack and not fall over. I also have him do the reading to me of the questions for added reinforcement. He is asking everyday if he can play the game - he doesnt even realize that he is learning things about the USA while playing. I even enjoy playing the game too.

I love this game! Its not boring, and I actually want to play it, hardly noticing its educational! So much fun! :D

Every time you play this game, you win a state for your collection. But when you win more than 50 states, guess what? At 51, all of your states are deleted and you start ALL over. Please add some way so we can keep our states instead of starting all over! After this is added, 5 stars! The mini games are super fun too! Maybe we can assemble the WHOLE United States?
